JOB SUMMARY
This individual is responsible for the safety, quality and performance of his assigned department. This position will manage and direct Field Service Technicians in planning and coordinating all activities concerned with installation and repairs of equipment. May be required to assist in management of shop activities.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Oversees the installation of new or modified equipment at customer’s locations to ensure full functionality according to customer’s specifications.
  • Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
  • Coordinates with customers and personnel set up equipment requirements and delivery / service times.
  • Coordinates with customers review and signed approval of field service tickets.
  • Oversees the maintenance and repairs of all company service equipment.
  • Assist Field Incident Report (FIR) Investigation Team. Reviews and analyzes investigation findings, performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives where needed.
  • Assist Field Incident Report (FIR) Investigation Team when required to inspect malfunctioning or damaged product to determine nature and scope of problem, recommends and coordinates repair, replacement or correction action.
  • Prepares weekly forecast on customer revenue.
  • Complies and submits employee time on a weekly basis.
  • Complies and submits fuel tickets on a weekly basis.
  • Establishes and adjusts employee job rotation schedules to meet production demands.
  • Provides input and recommendations in hires, disciplinary action, terminations, evaluations and promotions.
  • Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
  • Develops, conducts and monitors training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrates skills to trainees, including co-workers and customers.
  • Conducts daily “tool box” meetings and monthly OSHA compliance training.
  • Conducts customer location safety compliance inspections.
  • Maintains and operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, observing speed limits and obeys all road and highway laws. Complies with requirements of company vehicle use policy and drivers guidelines.
  • Observes and follows all company health, safety and environmental policies, rules and regulations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATION
EDUCATION /
EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); and four to five years related experiences and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiences. A minimum of two years should be directly related to oilfield service.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver’s license required, along with driving record that will meet company insurance policy standards for insurability. Driver’s license and required endorsements must be kept valid and maintained as a condition of continued employment.

PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS

Bending, stooping, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, kneeling, and climbing for extended period, visual acuity and hand/finger dexterity. Employee is regularly required to talk and hear and use close and distant vision abilities. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Must successfully pass pre-and post-employment drug and alcohol tests per company policy.

PPE REQUIREMENTS

Requires safety glasses, steel toe boots, fire resistant clothing and hard hats when on customer locations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. Exposure to warm, hot and cold temperatures. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud.
